Bluestone / Basalt steppers and paving

Bluestone steppers are a popular feature in WA gardens as their irregular shape offer a contemporary aesthetic with a point of difference in high traffic areas.

The colours are stunning dark grey to near black and the stone is durable and hard and will last the distance whilst being low maintenance if prepared correctly.

We are seeing Bluestone used in the popular crazy paving style, as steppers or large paving both indoors and out as it also has a high slip resistance.

The ideal care for your Bluestone is GEAL PREVENT2 as it repels water from penetrating the stone as well as anti-stain protection. It is also recommended that GEAL IDROBLOCK is applied as a pre seal.
